1. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Please note, some are 100% waterproof and others are only splash-proof.
2. Soap the entire submersible surface of the toy with a body soap, ideally with a neutral pH.
3. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
4. Spray a broad-spectrum disinfectant spray specific for sex toys like ToyCleaner. Exclusively favor chlorhexidine-based disinfectants.
5. Leave on for at least 2 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
6. Leave to dry on a clean surface or blot with a microfiber cloth preferably, as silicone can capture some classic textile fibers and maintain a fluffy appearance.
7. Never use alcohol, Dettol, or other aseptic formulas, as most agents can be harsh on the silicone and damage it.

The waterproof characteristics are always included in the description. Please refer to it. Basically, there are 3 main standards:

1. Not waterproof, in the case of a device which would operate, for example, directly from the mains, like certain Wands.
2. Splash-proof: these sex toys can possibly be rinsed or used in the shower, but never in the bath.
3. Perfectly waterproof with the IPX7 standard which allows the device to resist water up to 1 meter deep. It is therefore perfectly submersible and can be used in the bath.

Usage precautions apply depending on the battery type. The most common are Lithium-Ion batteries and here are the usual recommendations:

1- Be sure to never use chargers other than those provided by the manufacturer.

2- Use compatible USB adapters.

3- Fully charge the battery before first use.

4- Never let the battery discharge completely.

5- Make sure to keep it charged, even when the product is not in use.

6- Avoid extreme temperatures.

Warranties may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, but are a minimum of two years as required by European law.
